The hybrid system pumps 22bhp of power and 184bhp of torque straight into the drive line. Power then passes through a familiar nine-speed torque converter. BMW 3 Series
A good hybrid car will have a plug-in electric motor plugged into a wall. It won’t need to be refuelled, which is ideal if you drive long distances. It should also be affordable and eco-friendly, as a hybrid will not have to be as costly as a conventional petrol vehicle.
Mercedes C 300 e Hybrid Vehicles
The Mercedes C300 e is the best-selling hybrid car in the UK and is also the most fuel-efficient. With 68 miles of electric-only range, it is comparable to the BMW 330e, which only manages 37 miles. The car can be charged at home and still run on electric power.
